Location

The University Theatre is located on West Campus Drive, directly across from the Canyon Crest Drive entrance to campus.
If you are on campus, walk south from the bell tower between the Rivera Library and Watkins Hall to the end of the sidewalk. The theatre is on the right at the courtyard, just before the breezeway under Olmsted Hall.

Specific Directions From Off-Campus

From the 60 Freeway --

If you are on the 60 freeway coming from the direction of Los Angeles, you will take the Martin Luther King Ave. exit and bear right onto M.L.King to Canyon Crest Drive...

OR

If you are on the 60 freeway coming from Moreno Valley, exit at Martin Luther King Ave., turn right at the end of the ramp, and follow M.L.King parallel to the freeway. The road will bend to the left and take you to Canyon Crest Drive...

THEN

Turn Right on Canyon Crest Drive, come back under the freeway, and stay in the right lane up the hill to the stop sign. The 15-minute parking lot, loading dock, and stage entrance are directly across the street.

From Downtown Riverside --

If you are coming from downtown Riverside, come up Martin Luther King Ave. via 14th St./Pennsylvania Ave. turn left on Canyon Crest Drive and follow the above directions.

OR

You may come up University Avenue, turn right at the main campus entrance and follow Campus Drive until you get to Canyon Crest Drive. The theatre will be on your left.

From Behind Campus --

If you are coming into campus from the Box Springs Mountains/Watkins Drive side, take the Big Springs Road entrance to Campus Drive, turn left and follow it around. From that direction, the theatre is just past Parking Lot #6 on the right.

Parking and Assistance

If you are unfamiliar with campus parking arrangements, or need assistance finding us, stop at an information kiosk. They are located at the main campus entrance off University Ave. and on Canyon Crest Drive as you approach campus. Normally, for events held in the University Theatre you will park in Parking Lot #6 and take the interior walkway through the buildings to the front of the theatre.
